Competent and compassionate support will ensure that your loved one receives the quality care they need, giving you the peace of mind to enjoy your break. To accommodate your needs, flexible scheduling options are available, which may include:
- Overnight stays
- Short-term relief
- Extended periods of care
*Respite care may be provided in home or in community setting depending on the needs of the client(s).
Companionship
Companion Care services are thoughtfully designed to promote social interaction, emotional support, and meaningful activities for individuals who value connection and community.
The services provided include:
- Engaging conversation and companionship
- Opportunities to explore shared hobbies and interests
- Assistance and company during events and outings
- Support with reading, writing and making phone calls
- Compassionate emotional support
The objective of this service is to considerately address feelings of isolation and loneliness, recognizing the important role that human connection plays in enhancing an individuals' health and well being. It is believed that fostering these relationships can create a positive impact on a person's life.
Direct Care
This service provides assistance with activities of daily living some of which may include:
- Meal preparation
- Medication management
- Light housekeeping
- Mobility support
This service can also be used to encourage , and assist clients to participate in recreation/leisure activities of their choice ( tailored to their abilities and interest) and may include:
- Swimming
- Hiking
- Sports Events
- Shopping
- Community Events
- Meals out
Additionally, this support includes:
- Assisting clients with client led physio programs
- Participating in day programs and activities
- Supporting speech development programs
- Building life skills ( social and communication, personal hygiene, cooking/meal planning etc.)
